Colerain High School Class of 2019 Summa Cum Laude Graduates
Colerain High School Psych/soc students welcomed Clinical Director of Forensic Psychology for UC, Dr. Bresler into the classroom for a professional, teach-in presentation. Students just completed the last unit of psychology content for the year before moving onto sociology, concluding with our psychological disorders unit. Students participating had an amazing opportunity to learn more about the field of psychology, potential career pathways, and a real-life application of the content we have spent the past seven months mastering.

Struble Elementary
Under the direction of Ms. Shotts, the kindergarten students at Struble Elementary showcased their musical talent on Thursday, April 11 for their friends and families at the spring concert. They did a great job singing songs about the farm, featuring Old MacDonald, B-I-N-G-O, and many more. Thanks so much to Ms. Shotts for all her hard work to prepare for the performance and for Mrs. Venuto for all her help! We are so proud of our Kindergarten Struble Blue Jays!
Look what’s happening at Struble! Ms. Highland, a former teacher at Northwest, and certified yoga instructor joined Struble students’ to practice yoga. The students really enjoyed their experience! Check out our Cross Cat unit students’ yoga postures!
PRE
Jennifer Philippo organized city planners to come and do a presentation/project with our students. This coincides with the city planning project they are currently working on. In our project they are designing a city. They have to use their math skills, writing skills, reading about cities, map skills and group work. Our students have had about 2 weeks of work and today were able to learn and work with the City of Cincinnati urban planners. It was a great real life example of the work they are doing in our classes.

Students are required to have a 3.5 GPA in French and a 3.0 GPA overall.
