Ugly Sweater Day

MHE 5th Grade Chorus performing "Get Outside Yourself It's Christmas Time" will be on Q102 (101.9FM) between 9:30 and 10:00 pm on Christmas Eve, and 7:30 and 8:00 AM on Christmas Day.

On November 17, 2017 5 musicians visited Welch Elementary and took the students on a musical journey through the history of jazz. They played examples of jazz representing each of the key points throughout history. There even was an interactive piece where the students participated in a call-response song with the instruments. The Welch Elementary students got to see Jazz Alive!

Colerain Elementary Spelling Bee winner was Matthew Betewelign and runner up was Lucas Kathman. 
Both are in 5th grade. 


5th grade Access students at Colerain Elementary shared the gift of reading with 1st graders. They chose holiday themed picture books and put 5 items in a bag to represent the character, setting, and plot to share with them. 
Fun was had by all!



We had a door decoration contest at Colerain Elem.  
3rd place was “the snow globes of staff “ entered by our health room staff Connie stahl and Melinda Mudd
2nd was the “take a selfie “entered by Carrie King kindergarten teacher
1st place was “Santa got stuck in the chimney “1st grade teacher Susan Kelley.
