Butler Tech

I wanted to let you know that we had in total 29 NWLSD students who qualified for the Butler Tech – Cincinnati State Be Great Scholarship.  That equates to $87,000 in scholarships awarded to NWLSD students!  I believe we gave out a total of 56 scholarships, which means over half were awarded to NWLSD students! J  Each scholarship was for $3000.00.  Here are a few pictures from the event.

Colerain Elem

Colerain Elementary ACCESS students enjoyed a visit from Piper Hawkins, a local published author who is only 12 years old!!  Piper's first book was published when she was 9! It was inspiring to meet someone who had been through the same book writing experience and learn about the steps to getting published. Piper also donated 2 of her signed books to our school library.
