PRMS
PRMS held its inaugural Knight School yesterday. Knight School is a series of parent nights designed to teach parents how they can support their children at home academically. The focus of the first Knight School was technology in the classroom. Parents learned how to access and use Progress Book, Google Classroom, as well as investigate educational apps they can use at home to support math and reading. While the parents were in class, students were entertained in the gym with games put on by students from Northwest High School. Rolling Hill Baptist Church prepared and served a meal to all who attended. We had over 90 people and almost 50 parents in attendance. The next Knight School will be held on October 9 from 6:30-8:00 at PRMS.

Students created a collage with pictures that represented 3d shapes. Students also worked in small groups to match puzzle pieces according to a picture that represented the shape and its attributes. The students had so much fun being actively engaged in these lessons!

HELC

Our wonderful principal Aimee Murray has built a brand new interactive age appropriate library at the HELC!!!!!  Mrs. Murray has spent a great deal of her summer getting the library built and open for the start of the 2018-19 school year!  We are so very grateful for all of Mrs Murray's hard work!!!!  She understands how a preschoolers mind works and realizes sitting for a time might be difficult for many little people.  She created spaces where the students can utilize hands on materials, therefore creating a welcoming library experience!!!!
Thank you Mrs Murray for all your devotion to our preschool students, staff and families!!

HELC celebrated Curriculum Night with parents, students, teachers, and staff on Thursday, September 13 from 6-7 pm.  Students and parents created apple prints, tasted a variety of apples and graphed their favorite apples, read about apples, and counted apples.
