WOMS
White Oak's Student Council Members went to Camp Campbell Gard this past Thursday for an overnight leadership camp. Over the 24 hour period of camp, our students participated in group activities to test their problem-solving skills and build collaboration/enthusiasm amongst the team including things like Canoeing, Human Clue, and High Ropes. We took several pictures at High Ropes where you can see some council members overcoming their fears to accomplish some truly amazing goals as individuals and as a group. The students enjoyed their trip and are eager to put everything they learned to work through Student Council activities over the rest of the year.
WOMS orchestra director, Deb McDonough, performed at Zinzinnati Oktoberfest with her band Squeeze Play. They played German polkas, marches, folk songs and waltzes with a few big band jazz tunes thrown in for good 'measure'.

Colerain High School is involved in the Artist Reaching Classroom program organized by the TAFT Museum of Art. Mrs. Barnett's Advanced Design students were recently visited by plein air artist, Ray Hassard. Mr. Hassard presented to students and discussed how he creates award winning artwork. Students will continue to be involved in this program and will be visiting the TAFT next week as part of this wonderful program. The students will also have the opportunity to have two more artists visit their classroom and will get to go to an actual artist's studio.
I want to say thanks to everyone that came out to support our girls! Today we will be wearing our blue uniforms to school since we were off on Friday. Below are a few pictures from the evening. It started rainy but a few minutes into the game the rain stopped and we had a beautiful sky.
